About us

Tolvumidlun Ltd. is a privately owned Icelandic management consulting and software development company in the area of Payroll, Finance, and Human Resources Management Systems (HRM).

In addition, Tolvumidlun sells and supports Radiology Information System (RIS) from CarestreamHealth. RIS is used by the largest hospitals in Iceland to view and manage digital radiology images.

Tolvumidlun has developed its own software development framework, called TMFW. On this platform, we have built various custom made software systems e.g. for the Icelandic Property Registry, Reykjavik Botanic Gardens and the Icelandic Cancer Society.

Established in 1985, Tolvumidlun is one of the oldest software companies in Iceland. The company is the single largest supplier of payroll software for businesses, institutions and municipalities in Iceland. Amongst our large customer base are many of the fortune 500 companies in Iceland and 50% of municipalities.

Tolvumidlun´s strategy builds on expertise in consulting, software development, training and service.

Our HRM system is called H3. The solution is built up as a software suite which includes the modules:

Our Finance system is called SFS. The solution is built up as a software suite which includes the modules:

RIS

The Radiology Information System (RIS) is used by the largest hospitals in Iceland.

Service, training & support

We offer data storage, hosting and back-up services for all our products. Some software will alsobe  offered as software as a service in the cloud (SAAS) in the near future.

We offer extended training for our users, which are payroll and HRM specialists, managers or programmers that use our framework.

Our customers have access to our support team via telephone and e-mail.
